The East Meets West Collection was created to be a cultural fusion as well as a testimony to luxury womenswear. It is a dialogue between tradition and innovation, between heritage and the modern world. A key element of this luxury collection is the signature pixel print, created by Leen as a symbol of her creative experimentation at blending the cultures she lives in.
When Leen began sketching ideas for the collection, she envisioned a motif that would bridge Middle Eastern craftsmanship with Western modernity. She crafted a geometric mosaic inspired by traditional Arabesque patterns, reimagined through the digital lens of the modernity of cities such as London and Dubai.
“We wanted something that felt timeless yet current, a reflection of how our culture evolves but never loses its roots,” explains Leen.
Each pixel in the pattern represents an individual element of heritage and identity, woven together to create a collective whole.
Leen and Yasmin collaborated with textile specialists to translate hand-drawn concepts into digital compositions, ensuring that every line, shape, and transition carried depth and balance.
These motifs were deconstructed into micro-pixels, symbolizing how culture continues to adapt in the digital age. The print was applied to premium silks and Italian crepes, fabrics chosen for their ability to capture light and movement. Using state-of-the-art digital techniques, the pattern maintains perfect alignment even across pleats and seams, a hallmark of high-end couture craftsmanship reflected in the luxury gowns and evening wear.
From the first sketch to the final stitch, the Pixel Print tells the story of two generations, Leen and Yasmin, and reminds us that luxury fashion is about meaning, connection, and craftsmanship.
